I. Islam Facts—
1. The definition of Muslim is practicing believer according to the Koran.
2. Muslims believe that Allah is god and follow him. A Muslim’s eternity is determined by Allah—based on their behavior and works.
3. The very name Islam means submission.
4. The prophet Muhammad (Arabic: محمد; Transliteration: Muḥammad; pronounced [mʊˈħæmmæd] ; also spelled Muhammed or Mohammed) is the founder of Islam. Muhammad (whose name means "highly praised") was born in Mecca (the holy city for Muslims) in 570 AD.
5. The global Islamic population is one billion two-hundred million—or 20% of the world’s population.
6. Muslims adhere to different Islamic sects. The Sunni Muslims include 90% of all Muslims. Sunni means tradition—which means they are followers of the traditions of Muhammad.
7. The Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamic transnational movement and the largest political opposition organization in many Arab states. This group is the world’s oldest, largest, and most influential political group. The Brotherhood has as its slogan “Islam is the solution”. (Very dangerous and active at this time.)
8. The Koran (or Qur’an (English pronunciation: /kɒˈrɑːn/ kor-AHN; Arabic: القرآن al-qur’ān, IPA: [qurˈʔaːn], literally “the recitation” also sometimes transliterated as Quran, Kuran, Koran, Qur’ān, Coran or al-Qur’ān) is the holy book of Islam. The Koran is read and followed by millions of Muslims around the world. It is worshipped and very sacred to their faith. It details the tenets of the religion quite differently than the Bible explores Christian beliefs. The book itself serves five essential purposes for the Muslim people.
9. The Muslims have an annual march to Mecca—in which all Muslims are encouraged to participate.
10. All non-Muslims are considered infidels and must either be converted, destroyed, or forced to live under Sharia Law. Sharia (Arabic: شريعة šarīʿah, IPA: [ʃaˈriːʕa], "way" or "path") is the sacred law of Islam. Most Muslims believe Sharia is derived from two primary sources of Islamic law: the divine revelations set forth in the Qur'an, and the example set by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad in the Sunnah.
11. Honor Killing is the destruction of a family member—primarily women and girls- who have departed from Islamic teachings—it is reported that thousands of these killings take place each year. (Unfortunately, this practice is on the rise in America.)
12. The Muslims are asked to pray five times a day. For Sunnis, salah is prescribed at five periods of the day as part of tradition, which are measured according to the movement of the sun.
13. Jihad is the Arabic for what can be variously translated as "struggle" or "effort," or "to strive," "to exert," "to fight," depending on the context. In the West, the word is generally understood to mean "holy war," A person who performs any type of Jihad is called Mujahideen. The only assurance of going to heaven is when performing Jihad. According to the Koran, a martyr’s soul flies straight to heaven.
14. Muslims do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. But rather, a prophet who only went to the second level of heaven. (They believe in seven different levels of heaven.)
15. The goal of Islam and its followers is to conquer the world and to bring all people into submission to Allah. (And they take this goal very seriously.)
II. Challenges To Reaching Muslims for Christ:
1. Muslims regard Jesus as a prophet and in no way the Son of God or divine. In their view, such a claim is blasphemous.
2. Muslims also believe that the Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity is a form of polytheism.
3. Muslims do not see a need to become Christians, since they believe that Muhammad was the final “seal” of the prophets.
4. Muslims regard their holy book, the Koran, as superior to the Bible in accuracy and authority. They are taught that the Bible, though originally divinely inspired, was corrupted by Christians and is unreliable.
5. Muslims do not believe Jesus was crucified on the cross or rose from the dead. They do not believe that substitutionary atonement is necessary for salvation.
6. Muslims believe that salvation is attained by being a faithful Muslim, practicing the “Five Pillars” of the faith, living a morally right life, and obeying Allah’s (their god’s) commands as taught in the Koran.
7. Many Muslims believe that Christians are immoral since they see “Christians” (all Westerners, as they see it) drinking and engaging in immoral activities on TV and in movies.
8. Many Muslims from Middle Eastern lands identify Christianity with the Crusades and the atrocities done by some in the name of Christ.
9. Some Muslims regard Christian worship as irreverent with loud singing, men and women sitting together, people writing in their Bibles, etc.
10. Many Christians have misconceptions about Muslims such as thinking they are all Arabs (most are not).
III. Why I Believe Islam Is The Most Dangerous Religion in America
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.—John 4:23-24
(In My Opinion)--Islam is dangerous because:
1. This religion’s message is misunderstood by millions. (Not a peaceful religion).
2. Teaches violence against the infidels and even their own.
3. Mistreats women and children and other ethnic groups (Jews).
4. It has been given such prominence over all other religions in the world. (Especially Christianity—in Canada and Europe as well as the major universities in America.
5. They have such an aggressive agenda to rule over the whole earth with Sharia Law. (Telling the truth is not important to the Muslim religion.)
6. Their Koran does not teach true love or give hope. (Except during Jihad.)
7. The Muslims are more committed to their causes than any other group or religion and will do whatever it takes to bring the world into submission to Allah. (Even torture or kill.)
Conclusion:
I am convinced that any religion that allows or tells you to put on a bomb—or even worse—put a bomb on your children—or blow up airplanes and buildings to kill innocent people—is satanic at the very core and should be monitored and profiled for safety reasons. Holy war has been declared on America by Osama Bin Laden and other radical Muslim leaders—and financially supported by many Middle Eastern Countries (such as Iran, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia). And, unfortunately, many in the Muslim faith are being motivated and used by these radical people to carry out their purposes.
A Prayer That All True Christians Should Pray
We should pray that all those who have been blinded by the Muslim faith and its false teachings would be able to see the truth and accept the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior (Romans 10:13)—and that God would provide Divine protection over our nation and those that are fighting in this Holy War to protect us. Pray that God would give our religious and political leaders spiritual discernment in dealing with this most dangerous religion.
