A WORD FROM BROTHER JOE
Hey, my precious Summit Church family, WHAT A WEEK this has been! Pastor John Henry has “hit the ground running” and I’m struggling to keep up! But, don’t you worry, I’m “right on his heels!” Lol
It’s SO EXCITING to see all the enthusiasm among our people as we greet new “first-time” visitors each Sunday, and watch our attendance grow, and ESPECIALLY witness people making eternal decisions about their relationship with Jesus Christ! Nothing will ever top that in our priorities!!
Now, for some FANTASTIC NEWS! We have asked Lori Quist to serve as “Interim Children’s Director”, and she has enthusiastically accepted! Pastor John and I couldn’t be happier over this development!! Lori shared with us this week that “The Holy Spirit” made it perfectly clear, in many wonderful ways, that this is the “calling” He, presently, has on her life! We are EXTREMELY BLESSED, and Lori is excited to be an intricate part of fulfilling the vision I shared with the whole congregation, Sunday before last; of making KIDS/CHILDREN a major priority here at Summit! We are REBUILDING, from the ground up!! We need for EVERYONE to get involved in this project! PRAY, INVEST, VOLUNTEER, GET INVOLVED! Together, with God’s help, we CAN DO IT! WE MUST DO IT, for the future; for eternity!
I’ll be looking for you this Sunday as we continue “Paul’s Instructions From Thessalonians”. This week’s message – TRIUMPHING OVER TRIALS! Do YOU need this instruction? We all do.
Never forget, I love you!
